How to Renew Your Membership & Manage your Profile Online

Once you log in with your email and password, click on "view profile" on the top right hand side of the web page. You will see the following:

1. Click this button to renew your membership online. On the next page, follow the prompts to complete renewal.

2. Click this button in order to change your membership level.

3. Click here to view all of your profile information.

4. Click here to view what accessibility other members have to your profile. These fields may not be changed.

5. Click this button to update/manage your profile information. Be sure to keep your information up to date!

6. Click here to view your subscriptions. This includes a list of notifications, newsletters and subscriptions that you are subscribed to.

7. Click here to make a photo album for your profile.


Updating Your Membership

How to Update Your Membership

1.  Enter your e-mail address at the top right-hand corner of http://www.esmassn.org.

2.  Click on “Forgot Password


3.  The site will e-mail your initial temporary Password


4.  After you receive the e-mail, use your e-mail address and the initial temporary Password to log in


5.  Click on the Login button


6.  Accept the Terms of Agreement




The Basics
Once you are logged in, at the top right-hand corner of the page will be two links:  “View Profile” and “Change Password”

“View Profile” allows you to update your profile, make changes to your membership record and renew your membership online

“Change Password” will allow you to change your Password to one that you will remember and use each time you visit http://www.esmassn.org


Please note

You can update your profile and change your password at any time, without having to renew

To make payments online, you will be asked to log into your PayPal account or create a new account. If you wish not to do so, please feel free to renew via fax, mail, e-mail, or phone.

When paying online, you will be asked for your business address, shipping address and home phone number. When asked for the home phone number, please feel free to enter your business phone number. 


Participating in ESM Member' Forums

To subscribe to the ESM Association Member Forum of your choice

1.  Visit www.esmassn.org, sign in and click on “Members-only section” on the left-hand side of the screen

2.  Under “Members-only section” you’ll then click on “Benchmarking”

3.  Under “Benchmarking,” you’ll see several Forum pages listed

4.  Click on the Forum page of your interest, such as “Wellness,” “Convenience Services” or “Dependent Care”

5.  At the top, right-hand corner of the page, click on the “Subscribe to Forum” link

6.  Once you’re subscribed to a particular Forum, you’ll receive e-mail notifications about new threads, posts or comments that have been published on that specific Forum


The Basics

To create a question, follow the above instructions, but instead of clicking on “Subscribe to Forum,” click the “Create topic” button at the top of the page.

To respond to a topic/question, click on the “New Comment” button. Enter the comment and then click the “Post” button.

To reply to a particular comment within a topic, click on “Reply” at the top, right-hand corner within any posted comment and it will “Quote” the original comment in your post.

You also may edit/delete any of your comments. If you don’t want to disclose your name, you have the option to hide your name when posting a question or comment.


Web Browser Requirements

Currently we support Internet Explorer 6.0 (and higher) on Windows and FireFox 1.5 (and higher) on Windows and Mac.

If you are have issues viewing the site, try to clear browser cache (Internet Explorer  Ctrl + F5, Firefox Ctrl + Shift + Delete and select cache)

We require the following settings for your browser:

    * enabled JavaScript,
    * enabled cookies and
    * W3C compliant browser's document object model

If you are using one of our supported browsers but still see "Browser not supported" warning message, your browser settings have to be adjusted to enable cookies and JavaScript.



Internet Explorer

How to add site to trusted zone

Adding your organization site to a trusted zone means your browser will continue keeping high security settings for all internet sites except your organization site. Settings applied to site from "Trusted zone" are still secure enough to block other people from unauthorized access to your private data, but JavaScript and Cookies usually are allowed.


While your organization site is open


   1. click "Tools" (for IE7 users: if you don't see Tools click on Alt and Menu Bar will appear)
   2. select "Internet Options"
   3. open "Security" tab
   4. select "Trusted sites"
   5. press "Sites" button
   6. remove check mark from "Requires server verification https:// for all sites in this zone." check box
   7. in the text box enter your organization's site URL and press "Add" button
   8. press "Close" in "Trusted sites" window
   9. press "OK" in "Internet Options" window


How to enable JavaScript

   1. click "Tools" (for IE7 users: if you don't see Tools click on Alt and Menu Bar will appear)
   2. select "Internet Options"
   3. open "Security" tab
   4. press "Custom level" button
   5. find "Scripting" section in the list and switch "Enable" under "Active scripting"
   6. press "OK" in "Security Settings" window
   7. press "OK" in "Internet Options" window


How to enable cookies

   1. click "Tools" (for IE7 users: if you don't see Tools click on Alt and Menu Bar will appear)
   2. select "Internet Options"
   3. open "Privacy" tab
   4. using slider select "Medium" level
   5. press "OK"


Mozilla FireFox

How to enable JavaScript

   1. click "Tools"
   2. select "Options"
   3. open "Content" section
   4. check "Enable JavaScript" check box.
   5. press "OK"


How to enable cookies

   1. click "Tools"
   2. select "Options"
   3. open "Privacy" section
   4. check "Accept cookies from sites" check box.
   5. press "OK"
