ESM Foundation's University Program



The Employee Services Management Foundation has partnered with Indiana State University to develop a Graduate Level Certificate Program in Employee Services. This international program will be available as an online course.

The Goals of This Revolutionary Initiative Are To:
• Build awareness of the employee services field at the college level.
• Provide a level of prestige and scholarship for current practitioners.
• Groom the future leaders of our profession.
• Establish a body of knowledge for our profession.
• Solidify the importance of employee services in influencing corporate culture and the bottom line.

Get Published! Call for Authors
Have your name, your programs and your company profiled in our course book. The ESM Foundation is updating our resource book to apply to our University Certificate Program and we are looking for volunteers to author chapters on various employee services topics. Anyone who has expertise in a particular component of employee services may apply. An editor will assist you in structuring your information to meet the publisher’s requirements. No previous writing experience necessary.

Syllabus and Course Structure Focus Group
Would you like to contribute your knowledge to the content of the ESM Foundation’s University Certificate Program? Have you gained knowledge in certain aspects of employee services that could assist future employee services leaders in understanding the profession? The ESM Foundation is looking for volunteers to serve on a Focus Group to develop course content. This group will meet via teleconference and at ESM Association’s 68th Annual Conference & Exhibit in October 2009 in St. Louis.

The Focus Group Members May Consist Of:

•  Experts in a component of employee services, such as Wellness, Recognition or Employee Stores.
•  Various groups within our profession, such as volunteers, employee association leaders, full-time employee services providers, or multi-hatters.
•  Employee services providers from particular industries, such as healthcare, 24/7 workforces, government, human resources, work/life, etc.
• Employee services providers skilled at budgeting, event execution, forms, fundraising, program promotion, program technology, etc.
• University professors teaching a similar subject matter.
