OVERVIEW
Ready, Set, Green! is an informative overview of the impact people have on the environment when they gather for business or social reasons and includes steps toward reducing an event’s carbon footprint. The approach is Triple Bottom Line (People, Planet, Profit) and provides sound reasoning as to how these three can coexist. Explore practical applications for planning, executing and evaluating green events. Janet will explain how the same tenets seamlessly transfer to daily life in the office and at home. Passionately presented with an eye toward aligning behavior with an attitude of environmental stewardship, Ready, Set, Green! answers key questions and empowers you to take action.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Janet Cooperman is owner of Green PEAS Events, a Sacramento-based firm that specializes in Sustainable Meeting Practices to a mostly corporate client base. Sustainable practices have been a part of her entire life and in 2001, Janet officially entered the meeting and event-planning arena. Eventually, Green PEAS Events was born. Janet continues to plan events while maintaining a busy speaking and consulting practice as well as volunteering and participating in two green "think tanks."
