Internship Description:
The Texins Activity Center is the Corporate Fitness Center for the retirees, employees and families of the Texas Instrument's Corporate Headquarters in Dallas, Texas. Texins operates a recently renovated 68,000 square foot facility located on approximately six acres. Amenities include a natatorium, indoor/outdoor jogging tracks, gymnasium, 2 sand volleyball courts, 3 softball fields, 2 tennis courts, 2 aerobic studios and over 7,000 square feet of free weights, cardiovascular and weight machines.

Texins is seeking professional, enthusiastic, self-directed, knowledgeable students in the disciplines of exercise physiology, corporate wellness, health promotion, kinesiology, employee services or recreation/sports management to fulfill full-time, 14 - 15 week internships. Interns will be directed in a variety of experiences to enhance their professional development and gain hands-on experience working as part of several teams.

Spring (Jan. - Apr.) apply by October 1

Summer (May - Aug.) apply by February 15

Compensation:
Furnished housing plus paid cable, local phone, water and electricity.
